Ashley Ayers is the Puppy Program Manager at Guide Dogs of Texas and brings nearly 15 years of experience working with guide and service dogs. She graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Zoology and is a certified Guide Dog Mobility Instructor (GDMI). Ashley also holds CBCC-KA and BCL certifications in canine behavior, bringing a strong foundation in canine learning, behavior, and development. An active puppy raiser herself, Ashley has raised six future guide dogs and is passionate about helping each puppy build the skills and confidence needed for a successful career as a guide dog. She finds the most rewarding part of her work is watching each dog grow from a playful puppy into a trusted partner that changes someone’s life.
