John is the Senior Executive Vice President and the Chief Risk Officer and Credit Officer at Broadway Bank in San Antonio, Texas. He has held this position since joining the bank in 2011. John manages the bank’s overall risk exposure and provides portfolio oversight, along with leadership of underwriting, approval processes, administration, servicing, and review of all loan and credit accounts across multiple markets—primarily San Antonio, Austin, Dallas, and Houston. John earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics from The Pennsylvania State University and a Master of Business Administration in finance from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University. John and his wife, Cheryl, along with their two Labs, River and Scout, have been active supporters of Guide Dogs of Texas since 2019, hosting and loving many of the guide dogs in the Advanced Training chapter. The reward and privilege of playing a small part in this organization led him to his Board service role in late 2023. Their participation in the mission to enhance freedom, mobility, and independence for Texans with blindness or low vision has brought their family incredible happiness
