Jessica Bimmermann is a certified Guide Dog Mobility Instructor through the International Guide Dog Federation (IGDF) and has worked in this profession for the past 15 years. Prior to becoming a guide dog mobility instructor Jessica worked as a veterinarian assistant where she assisted with surgeries, routine vaccinations, boarding and grooming. Jessica has her MBA, and attained her undergraduate in Behavioral Science from Western International University. Jessica teaches pet CPR and first aid through Pet Education, LLC. Jessica is also a Purina Certified Pet Weight Coach/ Purina Professional and an evaluator for the A.K.C. Canine Good Citizen Test, Therapy Dogs Unlimited, and the Foundation for Service Dog Support. In her spare time Jessica’s hobbies include hiking with her dog Russell, camping with her husband Michael and their two senior dogs Julia and Ginger, and writing poetry and short stories, in addition to writing freelance articles for online newspapers such as the Examiner.
